Yarn Tasting

Yes I said
Yarn Tasting
. On Saturday evening I attended a Yarn Tasting at Knitty Couture in St. Louis, MO. The new yarn that was tasted is from a self sustainable ranch in Oregon called The Imperial Stock Ranch.

The owners of Knitty Couture gave a wonderful description of the Ranch and its yarn selections. They also provided us with wine from the Oregon region and some wonderful cheese and fruits for us also. Then after the lovely description of the yarns that are produced by The Imperial Stock Ranch we got to pick out a whole skein and knit with it. I chose something new that I have never worked with before, pencil roving. It knits up so very soft and cozy. I might just try a Brioche Hat with the two colors I came home with. Yes I liked it so much I bought some.

So I will knit on for mow.
