School update and more

Okay, I guess I will start with the latest.

I spent 2 hours in the emergency room with Alex this afternoon. I asked him to cut the ID tags off the dogs (they went to the groomers today for a bath) and go figure, he stabbed himself in the leg. There was so much blood I thought he clipped an artery. He is fine though. He is a fast healer like his momma. By the time the doctor got to him the bleeding was done and you could see a nice clean hole in his thigh. The doctor washed it out and he wants him to keep it closed with steri-strips. So after a really busy day the trip to the hospital was just another perk to the busy mess.

I got a 75 out of 75 on my EdPsych mid term! It was an easy mid term, it was open book. But still I had fun, I like research.

I don't think I am doing very well in one of my 3 classes though, it is the Introduction to American Schools. I really like the teacher. I just don't think I am getting a grip on what she is trying to convey. I love the class group and the discussions we have. So many different perspectives and opinions.

In my Introduction to Teaching class we are going to be Junior Achievement Teachers to help full fill out field experience for this course and the Education Psych class. I will be doing that on once a week at my assigned observation school classroom for 5 weeks. I am rather nervous about that.

Rhia and Alex seem to be doing well in school so far too. Both of their grades are good for the beginning of the year.

John is doing the same old same old. Working and not having enough hours in the day. He busts his butt to take care of us.

That's about it for now.
