sock a month knit-a-long

My favorite yarn hangout Knitty Couture is having a sock Knit-a-long for all of 2009. A pair of socks a month, doesn't sound bad at all. I am finishing up my Mother's pedicure socks this weekend and then the world of sock knitting is open to me.

I have a plan though. It happens to be the same as Thi's, knit a pair of socks in the first two weeks of a month and knit something else for the remainder of the month. I may be asking for too much out of myself again, what else is new.

Why do you ask? I start classes for the next semester on 1/21/09 and I am taking 4 classes - 12 credit hours. I still have three days a week that I do not have classes, but I still have a house, a husband and children to care for. Don't forget the two dogs and the cat and the Cub Scouts and the Boy Scouts ( I don't do a lot with the Boy Scout troop but I like to include it.)and all that goes with the love and care of all of that.

I wonder if Thi will let me count a crocheted pair of socks in the sock challenge? I always wanted to try crocheting a pair.
