No really, I am a jerk.
I have insulted friends, and pissed in their Wheaties. I have also gotten so mad at someone for doing something really stupid I stayed away 'cause I knew I would look at her and say ' What the F--- do you think you are doing?!'
I have been sick for around 3 weeks with a sinus infection. This last Monday my head and right ear hurt so bad I felt I had concrete stuck in there. And if you have never had a sinus infection so bad that you can not only feel it but taste it in every thing you drink and eat, then you don't know yuck.
So my down hill spiral started Monday with the pain at a level 20 on a scale of 1-10. The doctor could not see me until Thursday - lots of sick folks need him. Wednesday a friends sort of secret was found out - not by me saying but I did confirm it. It's all about him and a girl he is dating. He really, really likes this girl a lot and it is not easy for them to have time together. Well when I was asked if I knew about them and was it true, I said the truth, yes I knew and had known. Someone saw them together on campus and put two and two together. I should have said, you need to talk to him, I don't have anything to say about it. I know this story is very cryptic but it needs to be. Since Wednesday he has only talked to his girl once and not by his choice. He is very worried and I wish I could fix it.
Thursday I got to my G.P. and got some sinus nose sprays and some antibiotics. I also went to the another doctor, back to the dermatologist. I have a spot on my scalp that is tender and will not heal. Okay I had a spot, she cut it out and sent it in for testing to see if it is more skin cancer. Now I have a dent in my head, the husband says it looks like a buddy of his from the Marine Corp. that had shrapnel in his head. Oh - goody.
That night I went to Knitty Couture for knit night. I should have stayed away. I was in so much physical pain I was rude and snarky to all my friends there. I completely made a spectacle of myself. It was horrible. I emailed two of them and apologized and I will apologize again to everyone in person as I see them. I was an absolute BCH, it was horrible.
I also was fielding phone calls while I was there from friends in regards to good friend of ours. What happened you ask? Okay maybe you didn't ask, but a close friend of ours had a serious emotional breakdown and was in the hospital for 24 hours. This is the person I mentioned at the beginning, the one that I wanted to chew out but stayed away. I am extremely worried about her but have to give her her space. But I will get in her face should she even think like that again. Hear me C!
And you know to recap my extremely bad behavior - I got caught up in the gossip of a friends relationship that I should have known better and stayed out of, I was pissed that I got no flowers, cake for my birthday (it was Wednesday)it was a regular day, I was sick and in pain from the sickness, a friend did something really bad and I was not there to stop it, and I was a complete jerk to my friends.
So there is my rant about me being a jerk a--!

I think a certain husband (of "shrapnel" fame) needs a can of whup-ass.
And don't worry - I'm a jerk, too...sometimes.
Snarky? Snarky!? You piss petunias! I've never known you to even have it in you to be snarky or even remotely bitchy. No, no, not you. If you would have just let your head explode while you were at Knitty Couture and let the huge build-up of mucus and brain matter spray everywhere, everyone would have said, "Yep, her wittle head was hurdin'!" At least you have the peace of mind, now, to apologize. But, Ms. Snarky Snarkerson, who said, "Never explain yourself because enemies won't believe it and friends won't need it?" Really, who said that? Don't worry too much about it--we all know you're crazy! I'm glad you went to the Dr. for that sinus infection, though. People have died because they let them go for too long and it bursts into their brain cavity (seriously!)
You need a stress reliever!
