Update on June 1, 2015

You know it is a daily job in itself to look for work.  Most of the school districts have hired their staff for the next school year.  I am still looking on all the district sites, keeping my application updated and jumping when ever I hear of or see a wanted posting.  I am also applying to other areas where not only my degree and certification in education would be a great fit but also my 20+ years of business experience can be a plus for me.  But I have heard some discouraging news about employment availability, that there is as much as 800 applicants for 1 job.  I have no facts or news articles to back that up, but with the lack of interviews I can believe it.

My son turned 18 yesterday!!!  He may be having problems in school but he is a fantastic kid.  Now even more of a young man.  I hung out with friends yesterday even though he was not feeling well.  I took him out for frozen custard at our local place.  His dad came in town to see him for just a couple of hours on Saturday.  My son was very happy to see his dad even if it was just for a few hours, but he misses him so much and does not understand why his dad has no contact with him and can't spend more time with him.  He has muttered to himself it is because his dad does not love him.  This just kills me!

I just want to make him all better.

He took the ASVAB at school and scored pretty well.  Now he is getting phone calls from recruiters. LOL  He can't even get his school work done to pass high school.  I don't know what he is going to do or wants to do with his life. But he scored well.

The daughter is liking her new job and has registered for school for the fall.  We need to get on a payment plan to pay for her school.  I don't know how we will swing that because I don't have anything signed up as in work for the summer.  I will figure out something. I have to.  Her car broke down again on Friday.  Cost two new rear springs and a new tire.  I had enough to cover the springs, my folks got her a tire.

There is always so much to do.

Well back to getting things done.
