I was supposed to go to my workshop at UMSL tomorrow. Well I got the call late in the afternoon from the university. Only 3 people signed up for the Poetry workshop so they cancelled it. Sucks. I was so looking forward to it. Really looking forward to it.

I have been taking workshops since fall 2003 in fiction writing. This last semester I signed up for the Writing for Children. So far only two of the extra workshops I have signed up for have not been cancelled. It would be nice if they did not have to cancel. I am working for another Chancellor Certificate.

So I will deal with my disappointment by reading something new and writing on my own.

I want to enter some more contests and move forward with one thing that I like to do. Write. I don't do it extremely well, but I think I do it well.
