It is a wonder I have not put a shoe through the television. You can't even enjoy a comedy show without getting attacked about how good you are not. Your credit is bad, so call us we will make it magicly go away. Your health is bad, take this pill and if will all be better NOW. Someone is screwing you on service, we will give you better for less money. Let us give you credit so you can buy things you don't need. It's enough to make a person crazy in the head.
Our kids get it worse. by the time they get to the t.v. it's all comercials of you have to have this to be happy. We don't have the money to give them all they see on t.v. and if we did our kids would not turn out to be good people.
As a parent that is what I want for my children. To be good people. Also for them to understand that to be good people you have to work at it your whole life. It is not a call me and I can fix it commercial. Or go to the store and buy this outfit so you can be the prize.
Well that is my rant for now.

I know what you mean about all those irritating TV adverts.

We also get a lot of those no win no fee accident claim line adverts. There's one that makes me smile: the bloke looks like a right bully boy. I imagine him saying "Do you want an accident? Well, if you don't, you'd better pay me now!" ;-)

Perhaps the best thing with TV ads is to turn them off. I'm sure it's part of the problems in society: pushing people to want more. Turn 'em off that's what I reckon.

Good luck, and happy poetry :-)
