Long he will not last.
For almost 13 years he has stayed by my side.
Standing guard and chasing away the mail man 6 days a week.
Now he snores like an old man taking a nap.

My friend and pal has already lived longer than most Chow Chow.
He has had a lump removed that can not be treated,
takes drops in his eyes every day.

Still he prances and acts like a pup when it is cold like today.
'Let go out and play' and he jumps around just to get out side in the cold.

One of the best dogs I have ever know.
