I just finished the pair of socks I was knitting for February. Yeah I know it is March and they are a month late. This is all I will say about that, I don't think I will be doing a toe up sock again for a while.
It was not the fact that it is a toe up sock, it is the fact that the heel really messed me up this time. I have only made one other toe up before and I had it done in less than two weeks. This time it took me two months.
If you ask John he will tell you it took me 4 times as long because of school and the kids and just all of life. I say phooey, he loves me and he is just trying to make me feel better.
Ready for this, I am already wanting to start on the next pair of socks. Some lovely green ones are in mind next.
