--Larry and Terry in 1960, age 25 and 19.
On Saturday April 10 my sisters and I hosted a dinner for our parents to celebrate. They had a great time! We all did. There were about 40 total family and friends that help us celebrate.
There were many times they fought and argued, Dad was gone most days during the week working (he was a salesman). I came along 10 months after they were married - unplanned of course. They had two more children (all girls, poor Dad!), lived in 4 cities and two states and kept it all together somehow. Oh there was a lot more like, lots of love, lots of sacrifice for their children and each other and lots of hand holding and kissing when they thought no one was watching. If your parents are around, try and remember the really loving and fun and cool people that they are, and if they aren't, my condolences and remember even harder so you can smile and feel the love that they did.
Love you Mom and Dad!!!
